Angie Fox

VP of Clinical Operations

Angie Fox has over 25 years of experience in clinical research in academia and industry, including over 12 years in the medical diagnostics industry. Angie joined Sera in November 2011 as the Director of Clinical Operations and served as Associate Vice President of Clinical Operations from 2017 to 2022. Angie has been responsible for developing and overseeing the Clinical Operations team and clinical quality management for several large and small multicenter-sponsored studies, as well as overseeing investigator-initiated projects with Sera. Before joining Sera, Angie was an Associate Director in Clinical Development and Medical Affairs at Pfizer in rare disease, and a Genetic Counselor and research coordinator in biochemical genetics and inherited metabolic disease focusing on lysosomal storage disorders at the University of Washington. Angie began her career in the laboratory, including a two-year technical predoctoral fellowship in the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Section of Developmental Genetics at the National Cancer Institute. Angie holds a M.S. in Genetics and Biophysics from the University of Colorado Denver and a B.S. in Molecular Biology. She has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Genetic Counseling since 2002 and is a Certified Genetic Counselor licensed in the state of Washington.
